Project Overview
T.E.T is an air ticketing and executive travel company, and its Westlands office had to communicate its professionalism before a client ever spoke to a consultant. The brief was to create a workplace that feels as considered and dependable as the service it sells: a space where a traveller planning an important trip is received with calm, and where the team has the focus to manage complex itineraries. Pinmat Ventures delivered the design and build as one coordinated process, from concept and layout through to completion on site.
Design concept
The guiding idea was quiet authority. Rather than fill the office with travel imagery, the interior relies on material, light and proportion to carry the brand. Dark walnut-toned panelling and cabinetry anchor the executive areas and give them weight, while the working spaces remain lighter and more open. Each room has a clear role, and visitors move from reception to the executive office and boardroom without confusion.
The executive office
The principal’s office is the centrepiece. A full-height slatted timber wall rises behind the desk, framed by recessed shelving with warm concealed lighting that washes the wood in amber. A row of pendant luminaires draws the eye upward, while recessed downlights keep the ceiling clean. The desk stands against this backdrop as a stable focal point, with two generously upholstered leather client chairs placed opposite, so that meetings feel private and unhurried. Sheer patterned drapery softens the daylight, and timber-finish blinds on the window control glare without closing the room off from the outside.
The boardroom
The meeting room is designed for focused discussion. A long table in a warm wood finish sits beneath a sculptural linear light fixture whose cool white tubes echo the geometry of the ceiling. A deep navy feature wall behind a wall-mounted display gives the room a crisp, contemporary edge and keeps presentations easy to follow. High-backed task chairs with integrated headrests support long sessions, and vertical blinds in a muted blue regulate the afternoon light.
Materials and atmosphere
The palette is deliberately restrained: walnut, charcoal, black leather, polished chrome and deep blue. Warm wood and leather bring tactility, while the metals and lighting add precision. Wood-effect flooring runs through the main spaces, creating a continuous line that unifies the rooms. Layered lighting, combining ambient ceiling light, accent wall washes and feature pendants, allows the mood to shift from the daytime working hours to evening client meetings.
Function and detail
Every element supports the business. Storage is built into the joinery to keep surfaces clear, and seating was chosen for comfort in long working days, with finishes that are practical to clean in a busy commercial setting. Small details, including gold-toned accents, a considered desk accessory and carefully placed plants, add personality without clutter.
